Richard has worked across all parts of the innovation spectrum from development through to commerce including company formation and leadership in both large and small organizations. From his broad scientific background, covering bio-science, chemistry, materials and engineering, he transitioned to opportunity and company development where he has spent the last 10 years mostly working for investors. Richard provides pro-bono support to exciting start-ups at Imperial College, London where his most recent protegee has won major funding awards and is well on the way to success. His current interest areas are anti-microbials, sensors, biogas, water remediation and bio-fouling.
